Welcome to the St. Raymond Catholic Parish Web Site. Our parish is a warm and friendly place of worship, prayer and community. We serve the southern part of Downey California. Our parish is very multi cultural and is very welcoming of people from many walks of life. But we also reach out to people in other areas, some of whom are not Catholic, others not Christian. There's always something happening here at St. Raymond, from the opening of the Church in the very early hours of the morning to even late at night where one can find people meeting, praying or playing basketball in the parking lot. Please always know that no matter what, this can be your spiritual home.

A few questions to think and pray about:

What is the reason to have a Catholic Parish?

What is a Catholic Parish supposed to do?

What is the relationship between a Catholic person and his or her parish?

Have you ever experienced God personally in your life?

Do you understand that you can talk to God in your own words, and even without words simply with your heart at any time?

What changes, if any, are you called to make in your life so as to increase faith, hope and love in yourself and in others?
