Marriage

Through the sacrament of Matrimony, Jesus calls a man and a woman to draw closer to each other, to God and to the faith community of the Church. Marriage is a permanent commitment to a partnership of life, one that requires careful thought, much prayer, and intense preparation. Arrangements must be made six months prior to weddings. Interviews are conducted, the paperwork is done, and the couple is directed to the necessary classes. The wedding coordinator assists the engaged couple in the preparation of English wedding ceremonies (protocol, flowers, music and rehearsal). Our Deacon, Ralph and Aglay Riera couple assist Spanish speaking couples with the ceremonies in Spanish.
